This life can be busy, creative, fascinating and overwhelming all at the same time. Developing a skill set to help maintain balance is invaluable to your health. This workshop will give you a solid start to practice physical and emotional freedom. We’ll breathe, move, play and rest. Think of it as recess and naptime all rolled into one!
The breath is a bridge connecting the mind and body so the condition of one affects the other. Through the ancient practice of pranayama, the rhythmic control of breath, we can cultivate qualities like energy, strength, softness and peace. We will connect breath with both movement (body) and stillness (mind). We will breathe, move through poses, indulge in creativity and finish in Conscious Relaxation™. During rest you will receive Reiki and sound healing. These techniques will have an immediate positive effect on your nervous system as well as inspire your self care. Whether it’s to stabilize being overwhelmed, ease a physical pain or to find focus, your breath will become something you go to more often and come to trust. The freedom lies within.
