This fall we dove into bellydance costume making with the amazing Molly Morgan! A 6 week series that broke down constructing a belt and bra from scratch, I don't think anyone of us have worked so hard on a costume before. Molly patiently broke down patterning, designs, enforcing, and a full menu of tips and tricks to create our own incredible costumes. Next up, Molly will be teaching an Embellishment workshop Saturday November 21st 2-4pm so we can learn how to add rhinestones, coins, fringe, and all the pretties! Sparkle sparkle!!!Read More
Friday, October 9th Dusty Paik of SnakeChurch filled the studio with lush skirts & sparkly costumes, and taught an incredible fun & creative makeup workshop. Performers were asked to bring their character ideas & creative inspirations, and over the course of two hours we each designed a full face in line with our materials. Aubre Hill, MAS owner and director, worked out her snowflake makeup design with some wonderful help by Dusty is now set for this season's Nutcracker. Thank you to all that joined us!
